INTERNSHIP.... to me, this is very very important... it is a stepping stone for my future carrer even to the extent that i believe it can somehow maybe determine where i will be heading in the future....

Realized that SP actually help their students find the intern companies. While TP actually let their student find their own company... we can learn better this way. writting resume/ cover letter, having interview, know how the whole process works in the real life...

Saw some people who actually went for lots of interview, from travel agent to hotel, to airline industry... HER actions DEPRIVED people of a chance to work... i don't understand why she is doing this... but i hope maybe if she could be more thoughtful, spare a thought for ppl. She was successful for most job interviews, and have many job offers. She can be able to choose from now all the companies, which i tink this kind if mentality of ppl don't go far in their life. SELFISH. but what can i say? This is actually life... all kinds of ppl out there.

Actually very interested in the airline industry, so i went to this particular airline. Cant name the airline out but is a very good well known airline which of cos i love to work with. The interview took a freaking long 2 hrs.... self introduction, Discussion, Presentation. As a consolation to myself, at least i got into the interview. Heard that the HR rejected lots of ppl by just reading their resume/ CV.

I did my hmk, research for the whole of 2 days! read about the company in industry newsletters. But still, i was rejected by them. I Don't blame them k... but just very disappointed with myself maybe. I heard actually that the past few yrs, they take only DHL (Degree Honour List) students. I thought i maybe an exceptional, given the passion i have to work in the airline industry. Only passion can bring u far in your carrer, not your academic results.

The HR actually call me and say ya unsuccessful but i can look for her as she love to help me out in fidning an internship with Travel Agent. And so, i thought, why not? PLanned to sent out my CV and later call her to ask for some kind of connection thingy....

But the good news came. Singapore Tourism Board (STB) call my hp, but my hp battery was dead!! how suay it is ya.... then call my hse, but i was not back yet, i was driving back home... MY borther later say someone call me, and i ya call her back and realize i was accepted as an intern with STB!! =)

STB not bad too argh.. after all. =)
