I was the one suggesting to go Alaska... in the end, my parents are going to the freezing land this coming May. But anyway, i cant make it cos of poly study... but its okay, as long as they enjoy. But is a bit of irony i feel, cos i was the one who got the interest going ya, the one who really desire to go... and see my whales, glacier, mountains, sea, cruise... fishing.
BUT on a brighter side, my friend can come my hse play 48 hr of mahjong!!! hahaha!!! No sleep, just play mahjong. Those who sleep, better dun come my hse play mahjong!! =)
Fishing!!! its so cool... to fish in alaska... or rather in North America. In winter time, they would drill hole into the ice and thru a tiny hole, they would just fish...
From my experience, it is very easy to catch a fish in winter time... and the fishes are all the same... SALMON. !!! There is a limit at some places, 1 person= 1 fish as simple as that.... not too greedy, let the fish breed and live....
Alaska is part of USA!! It is the largest state in USA. Separated by Canada... The main city is Juneau!! NOT Anchorage... the common mistake people think is because Anchorage is the International Airport. Btw, only 3 International Airlines fly to Alaska...
