let's talk about the new budget terminal Singapore. i have just finish the whole stacks of newspaper for the past 7 days.. i m done with all the news around the world.

and what caught my eye was the budget terminal. it says rite now there is 1 airline which is of cos tiger airways who choose to operate @ budget terminal. and say they are not worry cos they are sure when passengers give the thumbs up, more airlines will operate at budget terminal.














but sorry folks. i think it is not a success in my point of view. ( my point of view does not mean everyone view, in case i get sue)

i think budget terminal is really so budget to the extent. i koe ppl will say since is call budget, of cos is budget la... but is realli too much as singapore is voted as one of the best airport in the world.

and how can we have such an airport (budget) next to Changi.

why i say that? 1st point: They want you to walk instead of building esclator which i tink it will not cost much. they make you walk one big round then u-turn back...














2nd point: the floor on the budget terminal reads ''hey there'' , ''hey!'' okay.. i koe singapore want to portray the looks of a young and cool nation. but is just too chilish. got to be more professional.

3rd point: the airport staff ( meaning when the aircraft land, they have to carry the luggage, fill the fuel) they wear short pants. omg. i cant believe next to it is a world class airport. and in this budget terminal, there's ppl wearing short pants. professional i hope in the future.

4th point: the colour is pretty dull. and knowing singapore is such a hot weather, there is no aircon along the way....

but at the same time, i have to say there is gd points too...

1) They use the high tech equipment whereby the new passport just have to scan thru, no human needed. juz your thumbprint. like in the MRT. ( but still the eqipment not scentive.)

2) as usual,the clearence is fast as many lanes are open for passport clearance.

but quite assmusing is.. when u see the screen, all onli have tiger airways.

hopefully, as a tourism student, i realli hope the budget terminal can be further improve.
as i notice a lot of tourist (budget) sit tiger airways and land at budget terminal. and transit to changi airport to catch their flight to eleswhere. they have to check out, take their luaggage, sit bus then check in again at changi airport.

i realli hope not becos of budget airport, singapore changi airport ( one of the World busiest and leading airport) losses in its world ranking.
